The Zambia U20 Women's national team will play Malawi on Tuesday in a Friendly match as part of their preparation for the FIFA 2020 Women World Cup second leg qualifier against South Africa.
Both the Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) and the Football Association of Malawi confirmed the development on their official social media pages.
"The Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) has secured an international friendly match with Malawi for the under-20 Women National Team as part of preparations for the 2020 FIFA Women World Cup preliminary round, second leg encounter against South Africa.
Zambia will host Malawi on Tuesday 28th January before leaving for South Africa two days later."
The international friendly match has been organized to help the young Copper Queens test themselves before facing South Africa in a must-win encounter having lost 2-0 at home.
The junior Copper Queens will face South Africa on February 1 away in South Africa. The winner between South Africa and Zambia will face either Namibia or Botswana in the next round.
