Ugandan goalkeeper Benjamin Ochan hopes that his great form will help AFC Leopards achieve domestic glory.
Speaking to Ugandan press the former KCCA shot-stopper said that he is enjoying his stay at the cash-strapped former Kenyan Premier League champions. He joined Ingwe in July last year and signed a year-long deal.
There were rumours that he would quit the side during this transfer window as the club continues to grapple with financial issues after it's the main sponsor quit.
Smile all the way
“Well, what can I say, God, God, God. Everything I’ve achieved has been because of his grace. I can’t credit myself because my teammates have helped and we hope it continues this way,” Ochan told Football256.com.
“On top of the man above, I also need to keep on working hard in training and relying on my experience to drive the team, hopefully, we can have the ability to smile all the way to the end of the season,” he added.
Ochan was the hero in 2017 when he helped KCCA qualify for CAF Confederation Cup group stages for the first time in their history. He later left to join Zambian outfit Kabwe Warriors in 2018 before landing at AFC Leopards a year later.
