Chelsea have announced that they have reached an agreement with Ajax over the signing of Hakim Ziyech in a deal thought to be around £37.8m.
The deal is however subject to the Moroccan agreeing personal terms with the Blues and will link up with his new teammates at the end of the current campaign.
This will be Frank Lampard's first signing since joining last summer, with more signings expected during the summer.
The 26-year-old's signing will also signal the end of a number of players' careers with the Blues, with a major clear-out expected to give room to new signings and the younger players.
Here are a number of the old guards expected to leave the club.
The Spaniard has been sparingly used this season due to Lampard's preference of the younger players at the club, and the writing is on the wall that he is on his last days with the London side.
His contract expires at the end of the season and with no talks for an extension, he will most likely be on the top of the list of those leaving.
🇫🇷 Olivier Giroud
The Frenchman came close to leaving in the recently closed January transfer window, but Chelsea's failure to sign a striker blocked any move.
Inter Milan were thought to be serious admirers, and there was also interest from London rivals Tottenham Hotspur.
The former Arsenal man has spent this season on the bench despite being fit, with both Tammy Abraham and Mitchy Batshuayi ahead of him in the pecking order.
The Brazilian is a fan-favorite at the club, even though he has had an indifferent campaign so far.
The Moroccan's arrival will be direct competition for Willian, and with negotiations over a new contract stalling, it's understood the club will be willing to let him leave after seven years' service.
The emergence of Callum Hudson-Odoi, Mason Mout, as well as Christian Pulisic, further provides Lampard with options upfront.
