The players Man City signed during FFP Breach

It's really unclear when exactly Manchester City breached FFP rules, but between 2012 to 2016 the club did splash the clash on new talent and we can maybe credit their current status to money spent.

At the moment, City has been slapped with a two-seasons ban from European competition for the breach of FFP rules and other damning UEFA faults and until their appeal is successful, this ban stands.

But who did they sign and for how much? Plus, are the players still with the club?

  • Jack Rodwell

He was signed for £12 million from Everton and is no longer with the club.

  • Maicon

He was bought for £3 million and sold after just one season.

  • Scott Sinclair

This player only made 13 Premier League appearances for the club after being bought for £8 million.

  • Javi Garcia

Garcia joined City for £15.8 million and he is also no longer with the club.

  • Matija Nastasic

This was a swap deal with Fiorentina that involved Stefan Savic. He is no longer with the club.

  • Jesus Navas

Navas was bought for £14.9 million and sold after four seasons at the Etihad.

  • Stevan Jovetic

City signed the striker for £22.2 million from Fiorentina. He is now in France.

  • Martin Demichelis

City acquired Demichelis for £4.2 million. He is no longer at the club.

  • Fernando

City signed Fernando in the region of £12 million. He lasted three seasons then joined Galatasaray.

  • Eliaquim Mangala

Mangala joined City for £31.8 million from Valencia. The Frenchman had a few loan spells away from the club before returning to Valencia in a permanent move.

  • Wilfried Bony

Bony changed Premier League allegiances after sealing a £25 million transfer from Swansea City. He secured a move to Saudi side Al-Ittihad last month.

We will keep you updated if anything happens after Man City makes an appeal.
