Paris Saint-Germain star Neymar is open to extending his deal at the club beyond June 2022 according to reports from Mundo Deportivo.
Neymar has constantly been linked with a return to Barcelona but the Spanish publication believes the Brazilian is now eyeing an extension with PSG with reports indicating that there are people at Barcelona who are against his return to the club.
The 28-year-old is said to be on a £600,000-a-week deal at the Parc des Princes and the amount is expected to be increased to around £700,000 plus a chunk of bonuses in his new deal.
PSG signed Neymar from Barcelona for a world record £198million in August 2017 and he has won two French titles, a French Cup and a French League Cup during his time in the French capital.
He has scored 67 goals in 77 games since moving from Spain to France; his latest being a goal against Borussia Dortmund in the UEFA Champions League this week.
After the game, the player publicly criticized his team for not managing his injury well ahead of the game; sentiments that are believed not to have been taken lightly by the team head coach Thomas Tuchel.
Neymar, however, is said to be one of the untouchables in the team as PSG seek to lift the UEFA Champions League.
