Proline FC on Tuesday boosted their chances of surviving relegation from Uganda Premier League after earning a valuable at KCCA FC in a barren draw.
The basement club travelled to Lugogo Stadium needing a positive result to move away from the bottom of the table and the draw was still enough to see them leapfrog Tooro United into15th position. The last three sides have 22 points and it will be an interesting final stretch to see who escapes the big chop at the end of the season.
Meanwhile, KCCA FC failed to gain ground on leaders Vipers and are now three points behind leaders who have a game in hand.
Elsewhere, Busoga United hit visiting Kyteume 1-0 to rise to fourth place with 42 points. Homeboy Lawrence Tezikya's 29th-minute penalty was enough to secure three points at Mighty Arena in Jinja.

Lawrence Tezikya's converted an early first half penalty as Kimera stretched to the limits to guard the win. What other gift can you give to the vibrant fans who braved the biting chilly weather and the rain?
