Absa Premiership champions Mamelodi Sundowns shook local football media after announcing Hlompho Kekana’s multiple year contract at age 34.
Sundowns proudly announced handing the veteran captain a whopping four-year deal that will take Kekana to age 39 in 2024.
Strangely, Sundowns’ Twitter account soon deleted the tweet announcement.
Meanwhile, up next for Kabo Yellow is the big one against the mighty Al Ahly in a CAF Champions League second leg game. Sundowns will place hosts on Saturday afternoon after going down 2-0 in Cairo last weekend.
