Congolese giants are interested in signing Zambian international Ronald Kampamba from Nkana FC, Zambia Daily Mail reports.
The Congolese champions have in the past been home to a number of Zambian talents among them Given Singuluma, Rainford Kalaba, Stoppila Sunzu and Kabaso Chongo.
According to the report, Kampamba, affectionately referred to as Sate Sate, is among top priority signings for the new TP Mazembe coach Drazen Cvetkovic as he embarks on rebuilding. The Ravens were knocked out of the CAF Champions League by Morocco's Raja Casablanca at the quarterfinal stage.
It is understood that TP Mazembe might get Kampamba on a free transfer as his current contract with Nkana FC runs out at the end of the season.
The 26-year-old Zambian star has already has had stints with Egyptian club Wadi Degla and spent a half a season with Belgian side Lieser SK on loan.
