Brazilian side Atletico Mineiro are reportedly working on a deal to sign Brazilian winger Keno from Egyptian side Pyramids, Egyptian media reports.
Pyramids signed Keno from another Brazilian side Palmeiras in July 2018 in a deal that was reportedly worth $10 million.
The Brazilian put in a stellar performance at the Egyptian Premier League club notching ten goals and registering 11 assists in his first season. He was then loaned out to Emirati club Al Jazira where he has been for the 2019/20 season.
In Emirates, Keno made 12 appearances with seven goal involvements, scoring two and assisting five, as he helped Al Jazira climb to the third position on the log behind Al Ain and Shabaab Dubai.
Brazilian sports news website Globo Esporte reports that Atletico Mineiro wants to bring the 30-year-old back to Brazil ahead of the new season. It is understood that the Brazilians are ready to offer Pyramids $5 million dollars to get the services of their compatriot.
No formal contact has been made between the two sides as football activities in the two countries have been halted due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
