Former Warriors international striker Tendai Ndoro says Covid-19 relief donation funds and safety are more important than his salary.
The Highlands Park striker, along with hundreds of footballers in the Absa Premiership, continue to expect announcements that their clubs will be slashing payments due to the ongoing football suspension.
AmaZulu were the first club to confirm the financial decision, before Cape Town City and lower division side Cape Umoya United indicated the likelihood to take the same decision.
The lingering question has now been, “which club is next?”
Ndoro went over to Twitter to reveal that he is personally not having any sleepless nights.
“I don’t mind if Highlands Park can go 4 months without paying my salary, as long they use that money to help on Covid19. Stay home, save lives,” said Ndoro.
