Uganda Premier League side KCCA FC have shown interest in signing free agent Murushid Juuko, Ugandan media reports.
Ugandan publication football256.com reports that the dependable defender has attracted interest from number of UPL sides since terminating his contract with Moroccan outfit Wydad Casablanca.
Other clubs circling for the Uganda Cranes international include Ethiopian giants St George FC, Vipers SC and PSL side Bloemfontein Celtic.
The publication adds that the player and his agent are evaluating options presented before them as they ponder their next move.
“There are a number of offers available for Juuko both local and outside the country and the latest approach is from KCCA FC which we can’t take lightly because they are a big team with lots of ambitions, organised and professional.”
“However, we shall have to sit down and weigh options to come up with a better decision for him,” disclosed the source.
KCCA FC manager Mike Mutebi has been looking for a defender to fill in the void left by the departure of Timothy Awany and long term injury to John Revita.
