๐Ÿšถ๐Ÿฟโ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿ”ด Highlands Park explain Ndoroโ€™s release

News out of Highlands Park’s management says that Tendai Ndoro was expected to offer a lot more than he delivered.

As reported here on Futaa yesterday, Ndoro and the Tembisa club announced parting of ways after the former Orlando Pirates striker joined in late 2018.

"Look, he's a quality player. He scored that vital goal for us against Bloemfontein Celtic late last season to get us those points but he hasn't done much this season,” Club Director Brad Kaftel said via Sport24.

"The coach couldn't play him, so if he's not performing for us, it's better that he moves on.

Ndoro, who was rumoured to be a high earner at the club, delivered a total of five goals and four assists in 28 games for club.

"He's a quality player and I'm sure he will find another club. I think he did well for us last season, but this season really he hasn't done much, I think he scored one or two goals.

"Yes, it's the coach who has to pick him but I think the player has to prove to the coach that he has to be in the starting eleven. But he hasn't done that,” Kaftel concluded.
