Former Brazil star Ronaldo Luís Nazário has left out Juventus star Cristiano Ronaldo in his top-five players in the world, currently.
The former Real Madrid star has further named Barcelona ace Lionel Messi as the undisputed number one currently, with Neymar, Kylian Mbappe, Mohamed Salah, and Eden Hazard completing his list.
This is not the first time the iconic Brazilian has named Messi as the best player ever, having said in the past it will take quite some time to have a similar player again.
“Messi, of course, he is number one, he is a talent that means it will take 20 or 30 years to see something similar," he told SA.
“I also like Salah, Hazard, Neymar, I love watching him play, of course, Mbappe.”
He went on to pick Mbappe as one of the most exciting youngsters and even delved into why their playing styles are similar.
“Many people say that he looks like me," he added.
“He has a lot of speed, he finishes well, he has great movement, he shoots really well with both feet, he has an incredible stride.
“We have similar attributes, but I never liked the comparisons, especially between players of different generations, because the situations are different.”
Ronaldo further added that LaLiga remains the best league in the world when it comes to talent.
