English Championship side Hull City have confirmed the extension of John Bowler's loan until the end of the 2019/20 season ahead of the June 20 restart.
Bowler is one of five players on at Hull along with Herbie Kane, Marcus Maddison, Matt Pennington and Mallik Wilks.
Hull have made the Football League aware that would be voting against rules allowing players to be on short term extensions until the end of the season; further citing that Bowler's loan deal was set to expire at the end of May.
Last week it was confirmed that the club decided to part ways with striker Norbert Balogh, terminating his contract with immediate effect.
Everton-owned Bowler made 11 starts and 15 appearances off the bench across all competitions this season.
Dan Batty, Nouha Dicko, Markus Henriksen, Jackson Irvine, Stephen Kingsley, Eric Lichaj, Angus MacDonald, Robbie McKenzie, Kevin Stewart and Jon Toral have not had their contracts renewed.
