Livingston striker Lyndon Dykes has expressed his delight at being linked with top clubs including Scottish Premiership rivals Rangers and Celtic respectively.
According to reports, Rangers boss Steven Gerrard is looking at bringing in a number nine and it makes sense why Dykes is a summer transfer target.
“Lyndon Dykes is a good player who has given us problems. He is good in the air, good on the floor and physical,” Gerrard told the Scottish Sun.
Dykes on wanting to expand his career and challenge himself at a higher level: “I’m really enjoying my time at Livi. But I’m also confident I can push on and reach an even higher level at a bigger club.
“There’s been a bit of talk and a few clubs interested but I’ve not heard anything concrete. It’s good to be talked about, but I don’t read too much into it.
“I’m backing myself internationally as well and I think I can keep learning and improving. I want to look back when I retire and know that I’ve pushed as hard as I can in my career.”
