Ghana’s Thomas Partey played 90 minutes in what was one of La Liga’s biggest games of the season as Atletico Madrid drew 2-2 against the mighty FC Barcelona.
With Barcelona needing all three points to keep up with Real Madrid in the tight title race, goals from Saul Niguez, Lionel Messi and a Diego Costa own goal made for quite an exciting night.
But from a Ghanaian view, how well did Partey play?
According to Into Calderon's review, the 27-year-old Krobo Odumasi delivered a seven out of 10 performance.
“Thomas Partey put in yet another massive performance against Barcelona. He did not let the opposition players settle and pass the ball around. He was also strong in his tackles and was at the heart of the midfield battle,” wrote the publication.

Meanwhile, Zinedine Zidane’s Los Blancos now have a chance to go four points clear as they meet Getafe on Thursday.
As for Partey’s Atletico, the next job will be the visit of Mallorca on Friday evening.
