20-year-old Ghanaian Conteh joins Dutch giants Feyenoord

The Eredivisie side announced Christian Conteh's signing on Thursday as the new season looms closer.

Conteh, who is born from Ghanaian parents in Germany, has earned a four-year deal to leave German lower division side St Pauli.

"We have been watching Conteh for a while," Feyenoord’s Technical Director Frank Arnesen, said via the club’s website.

"He is lightning fast, has good action, and is someone who can provide a good dose of danger behind the lines. This boy has a lot of potential, so we want to give him the time, space, and attention to further develop it,” concluded Arnesen.

The 20-year-old, who plays is football as a winger on either flank, is still eligible to represent Ghana after playing for Germany at U20 level.
