News coming out of the UK reports that Bafana Bafana international Bongani Zungu, is very close to signing a deal with Scottish giants Rangers.
The central midfielder at Ligue 1's Amiens has a second opportunity to leave his French club after his move to Spain's Real Mallorca failed in the final hour on deadline day in January.
The 27-year-old from Duduza now has a new chance to work under the legendary Steven Gerrard at Rangers.
"Rangers are closing in on the signing of South African international Bongani Zungu for £3.8m," wrote the Scotsman.
"Gers boss Steven Gerrard is known to be chasing a new signing to boost his midfield, and the net appears to be closing around Zungu after the Ibrox club opened negotiations with French side Amiens," added the report.
Meanwhile, Futaa will be keeping a very close eye on Zungu's expected move to Scotland.
