Kenyan trio of Harun Shakava, Duncan Ochieng and Duke Abuya are already back in Zambia with Nkana FC as the team gears for their next ties.
Football returned back in Zambia over the weekend with Nkana yet to resume action and while confirming that they had arrived safely, midfielder Duncan Otieno noted that they were ready for action despite having been out for a while.
“We arrived safely in Zambia and we thank God. The team is not yet back in action but we are ready to resume. Ours now is to give our best when we compete again,” Otieno said.
The trio, however, didn’t travel with defender Musa Mohammed whose contract with the club had expired months ago.
The player who has been rumoured to be on the radar of Tanzania duo of Yanga SC and Simba SC is yet to ink a new deal with the Zambian side although there are reports that the club is already in talks with his agent with the aim of renewing his deal.
After playing 24 games, Nkana is currently placed fifth on the Zambian Super League log with 43 points and are slated to take on Zonaco on July 22.
