Liverpool defender Dejan Lovren is one the verge of sealing a move to Russian giants Zenit St Petersburg.
The defender has had less game time at Anfield in their title winnings season with the Croatian international falling to fourth in the pecking order of central defenders at the club.
According to reports from The Times, the Reds want around £10m for the World Cup finalist with the player only having one year left on his contract.
The player almost left Liverpool last summer, amid Roma interest, but according to The Mirror, the deal collapsed because the Italian club wanted to take Lovren on an initial loan period.
According to the reports, the defender is set to move to Russia if terms can be finalised, with the centre-half looking to improve his Anfield wages, which would be around £75,000 a week.
Apart from Lovren, Liverpool is looking to cash on players like Xherdan Shaqiri as they seek to find young players to fill the void that is expected to be left by the players; the Reds linked with a move for Real Betis centre half Alissa Mandi who also has a year left on his contract.
Apart from Alissa whose contract is up next summer, the club is keen to promote some of its young players from the academy and give them more game time.
