Manchester United has offered a staggering £340,000-a-week offer for Borussia Dortmund attacker Jadon Sancho.
It is reported that United and Dortmund have started negotiations about the player with a deal expected to be reached before Dortmund gets back to training next week.
German publication BILD now claims that Sancho has put pen to paper on personal terms with United and all that needs to be determined before the deal can go through is the structure of the transfer.
The deal could reach an eventual £108million but United is set to pay the fee in instalments after Dortmund agreed that there has been a deficiency in finances following the Covid 19 break.
Asked about Sancho’s deal in the Tuesday presser, United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer kept his cards close to his chest saying that they still had no news yet on the additions.
"This transfer window is a long one. Every transfer takes its course. It is what it is, so if there is any news we will update you," Solskjaer said.
Dortmund is set to make a staggering profit having signed Sancho for just £8m from Manchester City in 2017.
