English Premier League champions Liverpool are set to launch a swap offer for Norwich City full-back Jamal Lewis.
The Jurgen Klopp is in need of Lewis as they look to find an understudy for Andrew Robertson and according to The Mirror, they will be involving one of their players to get their target.
According to the reports, The Reds will launch a £10million for the player and add player Yasser Larouci to sweeten the deal. The move comes after Larouci snubbed a new Liverpool deal with just one year remaining on his contract.
The player wants more first-team football and despite being linked with a move with Leeds and Brentford, his club wants to ship him to Norwich as they restructure for a bounce back to the Premier League.
Klopp along with members Liverpool’s recruitment staff are big admirers of Lewis and his versatility to play in other defensive positions is something that is said to be an attraction for the club.
The German coach has a good record of signings from relegated clubs with Gini Wijnaldum and Xherdan Shaqiri both proving a success after experiencing the disappointment of the drop.
