Republic of Ireland U19 international Ryan Cassidy has been handed a new deal by Watford before being shipped out on loan to Accrington Stanley.
Cassidy confirmed the news on his social media platforms, expressing his gratitude to his parent club as he heads to League One for a new challenge.

Speaking to his new home Accrington Stanley, the 19-year-old said: “This was the year I had to step up and go out of my comfort zone and Accrington accepted me.
“I am so excited, to play men’s football is different for me and it’s a challenge I am looking forward to.”
Cassidy registered seven goals from five appearances for Watford's U23 team last season - he is yet to make his senior team debut.
