DStv Premiership side Maritzburg United has signed Phumlani Ntshangase on a permanent deal.
The former SuperSport United midfielder was only on loan in KwaZulu Natal, before showing enough quality to earn a permanent move to Eric Tinkler’s Maritzburg.
The club known as the Team of Choice announced the deal via social media on Friday, confirming a two-year-deal with a one-year option to renew.
“"Phumlani comes with an enormous amount of experience which is a crucial ingredient in the centre of the park," said the club’s chairman Farook Kadodia.
"He impressed us all with his work-rate and professionalism, his reading of the game and composure in midfield. We believe he is a player who will certainly help us in our push for a strong top eight position next season,” he added.
Additionally, Matizburg recently announced a new assistant coach and goalkeeper coach: Delron Buckley as well as Rowen Fernandez.
Meanwhile, the DStv Premiership is set to start on the weekend of 17 October.
