🇬🇭⚽ The four players ruled out ahead of Ghana's friendlies against Mali and Qatar

The Ghana Football Association have revealed that four players are set to miss the Black Stars' friendlies against Mali and Qatar respectively.

Maritzburg United goalkeeper Richard Ofori, Pyramids striker John Antwi and Sporting Lisbon left-back Lumor Agbebyenu are unable to feature for the Black Stars due to restrictions with their visas.

Ofori's work permit expired and he would need approximately two weeks for it to be renewed which doesn't give him enough time.

Head coach Charles Akonnor will need to make use of the services of Switzerland-based Lawrence Ati-Zigi and Tanzania-based Razak Abalora.

🇮🇶 John Antwi

Pyramids' top goalscorer Antwi has not been able to make it to Turkey following his inability to secure a visa to make the travels as his work permit has expired as well - two weeks for a renewal.

🇵🇹 Lumor Agbebyenu

The Sporting Lisbon left-back who spent a season-long loan spell at Mallorca last season has also suffered the same fate as above due to work permit complications which don't enable him to travel.

🇳🇱 Kudus Mohammed

The Ajax new boy is currently a doubt for the friendlies but the Ghana FA believe he will be able to travel to Turkey on Tuesday for further assessment.

Mohammed was not in Ajax's matchday squad against FC Groningen following an injury he picked up on Thursday during the side's training session.

Akonnor on the other handed has called up Turkey-based duo, Caleb Ekuban (Trabzonspor) and Joseph Paintsil (Ankaragucu).

Ekuban has been called as John Antwi's replacement while Paintsil comes on for Lumor Agbenyenu.
