Russian giants Zenit St Petersburg is interested in the services of former Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino.
Zenit coach Sergey Semak is under pressure after a spate of poor results and could be axe according to reports from Championat with the team ready to pounce on Pochettino who has been jobless since 2019.
While the Argentine still fancies a job in the English Premier League, the Russians are ready to offer him a deal worth €6.5m-a-year which might prove too hard to turn down.
Zenit has former Manchester United scout Javier Ribalta as their football director and it is believed that he is doing all he can to convince Pochettino to join the Russian side.
The links come days after reports emerged that both Manchester clubs are keeping tabs with the manager. City is unsure if Pep Guardiola will stay past this season with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer start with United having not been the best.
