Queens Park Rangers winger Bright Osayi-Samuel is on the verge of signing a new deal at the club amid heavy links to Scottish giants Celtic according to manager Mark Warburton.
The 22-year-old was on the sidelines during the Hoops' 3-0 loss to Barnsley earlier in the week after it was alleged that he had turned down the club's latest offer.
“I just want Brighty to be nice and clear about his football. He trained very well on Friday and we’ll see how he is for the weekend.
“With any player, you just want them to concentrate on their football.
“So it’s about making sure their head’s in the right place and I very much hope that’s the case at the weekend.
"The talks are going on and Brighty’s a very valuable player for us.
“As a manager, you’ve got to pick your best squad, especially when you have one or two injuries and a very tight squad.”
Osayi-Samuel has registered one goal and an assist in seven matches played this season.
