Liverpool's summer signing Diogo Jota scored his first-ever hattrick for Liverpool away to Atalanta with Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane each seeing the back of the net.
Liverpool's in-form Diogo Jota delivered yet again with a brilliant deft finish over the goalkeeper to hand the Reds an early lead.
In the 33rd minute, Jota doubled Liverpool's lead, chesting the ball down before rifling an unstoppable drive-in at the near post.
Liverpool started the second half with a bang as Mohamed Salah added a third at the end of the scintillating counter.
In the 49th minute, Mane netted the fourth for the visitors. Liverpool were running riot in Bergamo as Salah burst into the final third and slotted Sadio Mane in on the overlap. Sportiello raced off his line by Mane read it perfectly and lifted Liverpool's fourth over the goalkeeper.
Four minutes later, Jota completed his first hattrick for the Reds in style. Mane sent a ball forward that lured Sportiello off his line but he was beaten by the pace of Jota as he poked the ball around the goalkeeper.
