Manchester United have been linked with Braga defender David Carmo as reports of the Red Devils bolstering their defense make rounds in the media.
The 21-year-old has been identified as 'one for the future', and he has been linked with Serie A sides Roma and Fiorentina in the summer window.
According to ESPN, United are keen on the central defender, who helped Portugal's Under-19 side win the 2018 Under-19 European Championships.
The report, though, claims that the Red Devils would have to shift either Phil Jones or Marcos Rojo, who are both out of favor at Old Trafford, in order to move for Carmo.
Carmo has missed Braga's last two league games through suspension but was a constant in the early stages of the 2020-21 campaign, already making eight appearances in all competitions.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side also continues to be linked with RB Leipzig's Dayot Upamecano.
