Manchester United’s Bruno Fernandes has said his midfield movement should remind fans of the great Paul Scholes.
Fernandes became an instant hit and fan favourite after he made the move from Sporting Lisbon on a five-year contract on January 30. The Portuguese midfielder has not disappointed in any way with 18 goals and 13 assists in 33 games.
But Bruno has now raised eyebrows by likening himself to the great Paul Scholes.
“Maybe I'm closer to Paul Scholes than the rest of them. Scholes was a guy who likes to be in the box, who likes to give an assist, who likes to score a lot of goals," he told the club’s website.
