Mohamed Salah could feature when Liverpool take on Atalanta on Wednesday night in a Champions League encounter.
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp revealed on Tuesday Salah could be recalled after taking part in training as normal on Monday following another negative test for coronavirus. The Egyptian wasn't part of the squad that beat Leicester City 3-0 on Sunday evening after testing positive for COVID-19.
Following a period of self-isolation, the winger rejoined the rest of Liverpool teammates on Monday having initially tested positive on November 13th.
"Mo trained and looked really good and he gave a negative test like the rest. He is available [for selection] and we will have to see what we can do with that," Klopp said on Tuesday.
"Atalanta is a threat even without a point to prove. The last game against them was a very special night. We played exceptionally well and did pretty much everything right, so many things came together."
The Reds could still be without the likes of Jordan Henderson (thigh), Thiago Alcantara (knee), and Xherdan Shaqiri (muscle).
