Beerschot's Ismaila Coulibaly reveals his desire to play for Sheffield United

Sheffield United-owned midfielder Ismaila Coulibaly has expressed his desire to play in the Premier League, The Examiner reported.

Coulibaly joined Sheffield on a five-year deal from Norwegian side Sarpsborg 08 but was immediately shipped out on loan to Belgian outfit K Beerschot VA.

The 19-year-old has since registered three goals in six appearances for the newly-promoted side and has shared his ambitions to play in the English topflight.

"Club Brugge talked to my agent. A lot of people thought that I would go there, but in the end, this project was better," he told Belgian newspaper Gazet van Antwerpen.

"I have more chance of playing time at Beerschot and the Belgian league is still one level higher than the Norwegian one, but at the same time, I am already certain that I will play Premier League in three years.

"This is a childhood dream come true. Nice to have in the back of my mind."
