Burnley have been handed a huge injury blow ahead of Manchester City as they are set to miss four key players four weekend's Premier League tie.
Burnley head coach Sean Dyche has confirmed Burnley will miss the services of Jack Cork, Robbie Brady, and summer signing Dale Stephens. Goalkeeper Nick Pope is also doubtful for the clash as he picked an injury in their first win of the season in the Premier League against Crystal Palace.
"Jack is making good progress is not there yet," he told the press.
"Nick Pope is unlikely to play at Man City after receiving a blow to the head in Monday’s victory over Crystal Palace. Robbie Brady and Dale Stephens are also unlikely to feature."
On the club's poor run
"We got that win and it was good. Overall I thought we edged it an we often have to do that. We get a nice three points and remind ourselves of what we do.
"I have seen the table look better but you have to get a start point. We have three clean sheets in the last five which is a feel of what we are trying to do. We often carve out some very good chances, which we did against Palace, and hopefully, we can take more of them."
