Manchester United star striker Marcus Rashford has surprisingly revealed willingness to play despite some injury discomfort.
Speaking to the club’s media ahead of the Manchester Derby on Saturday night, Rashford said he simply does not enjoy missing big games.
“I have to try to control things I can control. I don’t really worry about the rest. I take it game by game. I know I’m healthy, I’m smiling and I’m ready to play the games,” Rashford told Man United’s website.
“I don’t want to miss a game, especially the big, important games. If I feel like I can still help the team by scoring goals, working hard and making assists, there’s no reason why I can’t play with a bit of pain,” added the 23-year-old forward.
