🥅 Six Championship bets to place tomorrow

Here's your six-teams multi ahead of tonight's EFL Championship matches!

Birmingham vs Watford

Birmingham have actually lost only one of their last six league fixtures and although their miserly return of 14 goals in 17 games is concerning, they have also shipped only 15 at the other end as part of that run. They have been reliant on defensive stability and with Watford taking a more cautious approach this season, a low-scoring game is expected at St Andrew’s.

TIP: Under 2.5 match goals

Blackburn Rovers vs Norwich

The highflying Canaries have won ten of their 17 league fixtures this season putting them top of the pile with 34 points and they have lost on the road only twice this term. Rovers, meanwhile, are languishing in mid-table and will be a touch deflated going into this contest after losing 1-0 to Bristol City on Wednesday, despite winning the shot count 22-16 and seeing 60 percent of the ball.

TIP: Norwich win at FT

Derby vs Stoke City

Derby may have held another promotion-chasing side in Brentford to a goalless draw in midweek but they allowed their opponents 12 shots and 59 percent of the ball in that game and if Stoke are a touch more prolific in the final third, they should take the spoils. That said, Wayne Rooney’s men have shipped only twice in their last four contests so Stoke City win and under 2.5 goals could be the best bet.

TIP: Under 2.5 match goals

QPR vs Reading

Rangers have shipped 25 goals in their 17 contests this season and, although Reading have been better at home than on the road, QPR have won only three of eight games at their London home this season. With that in mind a simple Reading win looks like the best bet and we also anticipate a high-scoring affair.

TIP: Over 2.5 match goals

Sheffield Wednesday vs Barnsley

While Wednesday can’t be relied upon as a betting proposition, we can be fairly certain these days that their games will be low scoring. Nine of their last ten have produced under 2.5 goals and with an average of just 0.8 goals netted across their last five home games, we’re unlikely to see too much goalmouth action in what’s likely to be a fiercely contested derby encounter. The last nine meetings between the sides have also generated under 2.5 goals and that’s our clear pick here.

TIP: Under 2.5 match goals

Luton vs Preston

The win over Norwich is Luton’s only success in their previous seven assignments and they have slipped into the bottom half as a result. Preston are just above them but have enjoyed a strong December so far, beating Bournemouth and Middlesbrough either side a draw with Wycombe, who they arguably should have beaten. North End’s tally of 25 league goals is better than that of leaders Norwich and their attacking firepower makes them an enticing selection in the draw no bet market against the Hatters, who have only scored 14 times themselves this season.

TIP: Preston win at FT
