Manchester United came from a goal down to secure a 3-2 victory over Sheffield United in a Premier League game staged at Bramall Lane on Thursday evening.
McGoldrick put Sheffield United ahead but United drew level through Marcus Rashford before Anthony Martial gave his side the lead. In the second half, Rashford doubled United's lead as he completed his brace. It was intense at the end after McGoldrick's late header had given the Blades hope of an unlikely comeback but the Red Devils held on to bag all the three points.
The hosts took the lead inside five minutes of play through McGoldrick, capitalizing on Henderson's error. Lindelof and Maguire exchanged passes at the back before sending it to Henderson who was caught in the possession with Burke stretching across to take the ball.
He tapped the loose ball into the path of the waiting McGoldrick who put the ball past Henderson.
United drew level through Marcus Rashford after the England international received a beautiful pass from Victor Lindelof.
Pogba then set up a sublime pass to Anthony Martial and the Frenchman made no mistake to hand United a deserved lead in the 33rd minute.
In the 51st minute, Rashford grabbed a brace after a successful counter-attacking football. It began with some wonderful skill from Pogba - the second time this night he had been involved with United's goals. It was Martial who slotted the ball in for Rashford who once again finished emphatically past Ramsdale.
Three minutes to stoppage time, Sheffield reduced the deficit and it was McGoldrick netting a brace. From a corner. McGoldrick rose highest and head home at the far post, albeit with the help of a deflection off Lindeloff.
