Harry Maguire warns Liverpool ahead of Sunday faceoff

Manchester United captain has reminded Liverpool that his club is the biggest in the world ahead of their Sunday faceoff.

United has been on form in the Premier League and sits top of the table and according to Maguire, they will be arriving at Anfield expecting nothing less than a win.

“Playing for Manchester United and playing with no pressure doesn't come in the same sentence,” Maguire said. “We're the biggest club in the world, and whatever anyone says on the outside, we go into every game not only wanting to win but expected and expecting to win.

“That's the mentality you have to have in this dressing room-winning at all costs. It's something we have changed around, we've made that the environment we're in now. We put bigger pressure on ourselves than anyone else can do – not just to win games, but to win things.

“We finished third last year and have been to four semi-finals, but we want to improve – and we need to improve. Look, we're not even halfway in the league yet so we've got to keep this level up and improve even more.

“I have learned so much as captain of this club. First and foremost it's a massive honor, but I am here to win games of football and to win trophies. That's the mentality I have, the character I have, I joined United to win things,” he added.

Should United beat Liverpool on Sunday, they will be ending the hosts' 67-game unbeaten home record in the Premier League.
