Jurgen Klopp has admitted that his side made mistakes in their Sunday FA Cup loss at the hands of Manchester United.
Klopp who admitted he was frustrated with the results said they didn’t have much protection in the first goal United scored and that they were not at their best at Old Trafford.
"For the first goal we had no protection, we wanted it too much. Things like this should not happen. We had too many players in a receiving position. There were some mistakes around the goals. If you want to win here, you have to be absolutely top and we were not.
"It's not what we wanted so it's frustrating. We scored twice and that's all okay, but they scored three," he said.
Liverpool had taken an 18th-minute lead through Mohammed Salah but Mason Greenwood restored parity before Marcus Rashford gave United the lead. Despite Salah scoring gain to restore parity, substitute Bruno Fernandes was to come with what proved to be the winner 12 minutes from time.
