Manchester United through manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has given an update on the injury to striker Marcus Rashford.
Rashford didn’t was withdrawn in the club’s 3-2 FA Cup win over Liverpool on Sunday and according to Solskjaer, the Englishman knee had been a bother.
Asked if the player would be available for the club’s next match, Solskjaer told reporters: “Let’s hope so. His knee was bothering him. (He'll have a] scan tomorrow and we’ll see where we are.”
Rashfod who was criticized in the club’s scoreless draw against the same opponents last week had a good outing and assisted Mason Greenwood’s goals before the striker returning the favor for his goal that had put United ahead in the tie.
The goal was Rashford’s 15th goal of the campaign in all competitions, from 31 appearances for United with the striker hoping that he can match his best season tally of 22 he recorded lasts season.
The striker was replaced by Anthony Martial four minutes from time and headed straight up the tunnel.
