AC Milan title charge in Serie A was dented by minnows Spezia who felled them 2-0 with some dominant display on Saturday.
Newbies Spezia who have had a perfect 2021 having beaten AS Roma in the Coppa Italia and Napoli in the league, scored twice in the second half through Giulio Maggiore and Simone Bastoni with Milan finishing the game without any shot on target. The loss means that Milan might lose their top spot if Inter Milan can beat Lazio on Sunday.
Meanwhile, Juventus are now seven points off the top spot after Lorenzo Insigne’s first-half penalty earned Napoli a 1-0 home win over the Andrea Pirlo side.

In Germany, Erling Haaland earned Borussia Dortmund a point as his 81st-minute equalizer secured a 2-2 draw for his side against Hoffenheim.
Jadon Sancho put Dortmund in front in the 24th minute but Mu’nas Dabbur restored parity seven minutes later before Ihlas Bebou headed Hoffenheim in front in the 51st minute.
