Laliga giants Real Madrid are willing to listen to offers for defender Rafael Varane in the coming summer.
Varane has been linked with a move to Man United and Liverpool target said to be interested too with the player having been at the club ever since arriving from Lens in 2011; the player helping his side to win four Champions League titles and three La Liga crowns.
Madrid is yet to offer the player a new deal despite his current deal expiring next summer and according to reports from OkDiario via The Express, Real have slashed Varane’s price to just £43million; the club said to be willing to part ways with the center-back, believing he’s not the same whenever Sergio Ramos is absent from the side.
Ramos is another player whose future at the club is yet to be solved with the Spain international’s contract expiring at the end of the season.
United has been an admirer of the two players with Varane’s interest dating back to the Sir Alex Ferguson's era. The Scot wanted to land Varane a decade ago but, in the end, missed out on Real.
Jose Mourinho mulled over signing the France international during his own Old Trafford reign but he, like his predecessor, also missed out.
