'We have a score to settle' - Ole Gunnar warns Crystal Palace

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has warned Crystal Palace that his side has a score to settle from their opening day defeat.

The Eagles clawed United 3-1 at Old Trafford on opening day, even though Solskajer's men had little time to prepare for the match compared to Palace.

Speaking ahead of the game, Solskjaer, however, warned his side that the match will not be easy and that they will have to be at their best.

“You could say patience but also you need the quality because he does have a great record of organising his teams. They have some very experienced players that know the game.

"We felt that early on in the first game of the season of course. They counterattacked a few times against us and scored. So we’ve got a score to settle to be honest,"

United have lost their early form in recent games, and Solskjaer knows they need to start winning in order to maintain their position on the log.

"We need to get back to winning ways. We want three points. We know it’s going to be a battle. We’ve got to be really precise and show high quality in the last third because they’re not going to give you both, you have to earn them and we’ve got to defend well against their set-plays and counterattacks.”

United are currently second on the table on 50 points, 15 off league leaders Man City, whom they face on Sunday.
