Mikel Arteta says he is unsure when Martin Odegaard will return from injury but is expected to miss Arsenal's next two matches.
Odegaard didn't feature on Thursday during Arsenal's 1-1 draw with Slavia Prague in the Europa League due to an ankle injury. Speaking after the match, Arteta revealed Odegaard will miss the weekend's Premier League tie against Sheffield United and could sit out the return leg clash.
When asked about Odegaard's availability, Arteta said, "We don't know."
"He wasn’t able to play today and he will be out, I think, for the next game or two. But we don’t know yet," he explained.
The Norwegian has been in fine form for the Gunners since joining on loan and has been on the scoresheet in both the Premier League and Europa League.
The 22-year-old is expected to be available for selection when the north London side takes on Fulham on 18th April.
