Crystal Palace defender Tyrick Mitchell has signed a contract extension that will keep him at the club until the summer of 2025.
Mitchell joined Palace as a 16-year-old following the restructuring of Brentford's academy in 2016. The 21-year-old made his senior debut last year during Palace's 3-0 loss to Leicester City and since then has gone on to make 17 more appearances.
"This shows once again how our Academy can attract the very best young talent and develop them into first-team players. Tyrick’s progress is an immense source of pride for our club and Academy," Palace's chairman Steve Parish said.
"I’m delighted. It’s a great place to be and an exciting time so I’m delighted to sign a contract. I can see, especially with the Academy building now and Academy players coming through, it’s a great time."
The left-back's deal with Palace was set to expire this summer alongside 12 other members of the club's first-team squad.
