Barcelona coach confident of Laliga title hopes

FC Barcelona assistant coach Alfred Schreuder is confident that the club can win the Laliga title this season.

According to Schreuder who was speaking on behalf of Koeman after their win over Valencia on Sunday, their team won't be distracted by other teams as the LaLiga title race goes down to the wire.

“It will be very close, that's also what we hoped in January. We are there. We don't have to look at other teams. We look at ourselves. Sometimes we lose points, sometimes Atletico, sometimes Real, Sevilla... It won't be the final game next week. We still have four games to go.

“Everybody at Barcelona trusts our players (to win the title). We trust our players. That's what they showed today again,” the coach said as quoted by Marca via Daily Mail.

The Laliga title race is getting more enticing with four games to go as the quartet of Sevilla, Barca, Real Madrid, and Atletico Madrid all have a chance of winning the title.

Atletico who faces Barca in their next game is leading the log with 76 points; two more than Real Madrid and Barca in second and third place respectively. Sevilla is placed fourth with 70 points having played a game less than the top three sides.
