Liverpool announce plans to have fans back in their last game of the season

English Premier League defending champions Liverpool have announced to have fans back at Anfield in their last game of the season.

The decision comes just hours after the Premier League announced that they were planning to have fans back to the stadium in the last two games of the season with Liverpool set to host Crystal Palace on Sunday, May 23.

The Jurgen Klopp side is set to welcome 10,000 fans for their last game with the club announcing that the ticket ballot will open on Monday, May 10, with applications restricted to UK residents, no paper tickets, and fans being encouraged to take a COVID-19 test prior.

Should it happen, it won't be the first time The Reds welcome fans to the stadium this season after they briefly welcomed fans back in early December before another lockdown caused stadia to be closed once again.
