Roberto Mancinci is expected to manage Italy at the FIFA 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
The former Manchester City manager took over Azzurri in 2018, before a glowing rebuilding that ensured a comfortable qualification for the EUROS 2020, where Italy are one of the favourites to claim glory.
As a result, the FA has rewarded the former Leicester City central defender a contract extension until 2026.
Roberto Mancini has just signed his contract extension as Italian National Team coach until June 2026. He’s staying also for the World Cup in Qatar 2022. 🇮🇹 #Italia— Fabrizio Romano (@FabrizioRomano) May 17, 2021
