Manchester United star forward, Mason Greenwood, has confirmed overcoming a major stumbling block in his young career.
The 19-year-old Greenwood became an instant superstar last season after making his debut against PSG in Paris, but the young attacker began the current season with a blip, before his star shone again in the final quarter of this season.
"It was difficult,” Greenwood said via Goal.
"You know how it is, it was obviously going to come. It was a mental challenge but you have to block it all out really.
“If you play for United, one of the biggest clubs in the world, you have to overcome that. I have pushed that to one side just to concentrate on my football. I have overcome it now. I am happy to be back playing my best football,” Greenwood concluded.
The winger is expected to feature again as the Red Devils take on Fulham on Tuesday night.
