Sofapaka FC will miss the services of striker Timothy Otieno when they take on KCB over the weekend.
Otieno picked up a knee injury against Nairobi City Stars over the weekend and was replaced in the second half by David Kingatua. Sofapaka suffered a 3-0 loss in the hands of Stars, making it two back-to-back defeats, having lost to Gor Mahia.
Goalkeeper Aigba Moubarak is also out as he is serving a suspension after he was shown a straight red in their loss to City Stars.
"We have been dealt two huge setbacks, striker Timothy Otieno has been ruled out due to a knee injury while custodian Aigba Moubarak will miss the game due to suspension after being sent off against City Stars," he told the club's official website.
"In football, any loss mounts pressure and so has been our case. Yes, we feel the pressure because expectations are high but we are calm because we understand we are simply out of form. We haven’t had the best of results but we believe we shall soon overturn the results."
The match will be played at Ruaraka Sports Ground this Saturday.
