English Premier League side Arsenal is ready to go head to head against moneybags Pais Saint Germain for the services of Joaquin Correa.
The 26-year-old attacker is said to be on his way out of Lazio having been linked with a move to the Premier League last week.
Calciomercato now reports that PSG has entered the race for the Argentine as Mauricio Pochettino believes that the player can boost their attack with Maurizio Sarri, who has taken over at the Italian club, likely to employ a 4-3-3 system next season.
Correa is not an ideal fit for the system, and Lazio could look to cash in on, with a fee of around €50 million likely to be enough to secure his services; the club said to be in need of some money too to balance their books.
Apart from Arsenal and PSG, the player has been linked with Tottenham Hotspur before but it's the former two who are believed to be leading the race for his signature.
The player bagged 11 goals and six assists in all competitions last term for his club and has a contract with Lazio until 2024.
Arsenal needs to improve their attacking options, and Correa could prove to be a quality addition alongside Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Nicolas Pepe with Tottenham keen should they lose Harry Kane who is attracting interest from Manchester City.
